Black and White

What I like about black and white photographs are that they show true beauty. There are no colors to distract you: you focus in on what’s really there. And aside from that you start to notice the flaws too  in peoples skin or sometimes  how one eye is bigger than the other and that to me makes it more beautiful.

 

Like this photo by J. Borodina.  There is so much emotion and life to the photo without any color.

The above photo is by one of favorite photographers.

And I think by far my favorite is the newest cover of W with Brad Pitt on it, it was photographed by the lovely Chuck Close. He uses what is called a daguerreotype style.
